Do you struggle with following through on your Decisions, getting to the Action, and your Response to what you have available to make what you decided on, to actually happen?
I did a Facebook Live video today on my profile page, you can view it here. I shared two parables:
- Question: There are 3 frogs on a log and one of them made a decision to jump off. How many are left?
- Answer: All 3; because the one only made a decision, he never took the action!
God Will Help Me
There was a man who lived near a river. He was very religious man. One day, the river rose over the banks and flooded the town, and he was forced to climb onto his porch roof. While sitting there, a man in a boat comes along and tells him to get in the boat. He said No, that’s okay, God will take care of me. The man in the boat drives off. The water rises, so he climbs onto his roof. Another boat comes along and the person says to get in. He replied, No, that’s okay. God will take care of me. The person in the boat leaves. The water rises even more, and he climbs on his chimney. Then a helicopter comes and lowers a ladder. The woman in the helicopter tells him to climb up the ladder and get in. He tells her, That’s okay. She says, Are you sure? He said, Yeah, I’m sure God will take care of me. Finally, the water rises too high and he drowns. He gets up to Heaven and is face-to-face with God and says to God, You told me you would take care of me! What happened? God replied, “Well, I sent you two boats and a helicopter. What else did you want?”
Look at the decisions you’ve come to, are you taking action and are you responding to what you have available to you to complete what you have decided to do?
I do hope you find this to be valuable! If so, please share this with a friend, family, or colleague who may find it valuable too!
